On February 7, 2023, Western hosted a Celebration of Western’s Inaugural Black Scholarships honouring three Black leaders in the community and the 2022-23 student recipients.

Western is proud of the accomplishments and successes of our Black students. These Black scholarships are just one step the university is taking to create a more welcoming and inclusive experience for students, faculty, and staff.
