These are all lovely – such creation and talent from everyone 😍
😆aww bless them 🥰 these kids will bring hope and joy to our world 🌎 🙏
The amount of “why” Thomas asked when we talk about this was record-breaking but it’s important to take the time. It prompted a nice conversation with Thomas. Thanks for the idea, Michelle.
Hearts are integral to our house all our banisters have hearts, windows surrounds have hearts or deco roses, bedsteads have hearts too…home is where our hearts are but also evidence the love and passion we put into life and give in life. Hope this fits with living art and your project theme. Harry’s hearts drawing too… Michelle ❤️🖤❤️🖤Hearts for Art Love project.
Thank you Michelle for the initiatives. Happy to participate in any activity which develops a humanitarian and awareness msgs. It also reflects the solidarity and unity of our community.❤️❤️
We are a little late because I just didn’t know what to tell the girls, I just was so ashamed to admit this happens. So they all coloured their hearts on Monday and they kept asking what’s this for and I just couldn’t think how to explain. So after much thought and care into the matter I sat down to explain…..they looked at me, they thought about it….and then our 6 years old said “I’m so glad that doesn’t happen here”😥😥bless her innocent heart.
When your oldest and dearest friend Michelle Angela Jenkins asks for everyone to write messages of love to show unity and solidarity, you drop what you are doing and get colouring! Not nearly as artistic as my beautiful artist Michelle can do 😘 They are proudly displayed on our front window (picture of the window to follow when the sun is not glaring on it). 🖤
I’m proud of my kids and happy that we can raise them in a multicultural environment. For them, it is self-evident to treat all the people with respect and equality ❤️🖤💛💙💚“
@eliisa ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Thank you for taking part.
Hearts with Love Project 🖤❤️🖤.
Michelle, what you have created with the kiddies paintings is so special. You should be so proud of yourself.
I am proud of you!! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍
I’m so proud of what u have done Michelle! it’s so nice that lots of people have got involved!
u should be proud of yourself too! ❤❤❤
We talked a lot about differences too and Evie asked why no one else in my school has ginger hair 👩🏼🦰😂😂🙈
This is something that we talk about a lot… mostly in the context of anti-bullying… Cear and Milad have a very hard time understanding why people mistreat others because of their race, color, religion, or ethnicity.
When your amazingly talented artist friend asks you to participate in her ‘Hearts with Love’ Project, to show solidarity and raise awareness of racial injustice, but your art skills are that of a 5 year old…this is what you come up with!
This amazing picture was found from a wonderful friend in England 🏴! The beautiful Vickie Mildren is from America but helped me feel grounded whilst I was in the UK 🇬🇧!! Thank you for all the giggles, pizza and pub lunches. Most importantly THANK YOU Vickie for taking the time to find this pic and contribute to this project! You are a wonderful, sweet, and kind woman! Hearts with Love Project 🖤❤️🖤 Together we can !!

What are great way to get creative and talk about BLM- this art project has given us all some time to reflect, learn and grow. Thanks to Team Graat Rachel Graat for jumping on board! What a great gallery from the kiddos!
Michelle Angela Jenkins Hearts with Love Project Thank you for getting us inspired to create art and create change!
We’ve done the heart project and lots of chat about BLM. Maisie knew of it from school work. I hadn’t really discussed it with them as they still seem so innocent & don’t notice difference which I love but do understand how important it is to educate them early. We had lots of fun doing it together! Even Barney bunny tried to get involved 🤣
BLACK LIVES MATTER
Racism is sadly happening all around the world, not just in the USA.
Following the death of African American George Floyd in May 2020, there has been lots of protest, including in the UK. The aim is to Stop racism and discrimination against black people.
We should all be TREAD EQUALLY REGARDLESS of our skin colour and LIVE IN HARMONY!
Hearts in a different style. 🖤❤️🖤 All the way from Japan !! Wow
“Though we feel distanced during this Covid time staying in our home in our host country away from our friends and family across the ocean, away from the turbulence, suffering, loneliness, anger and sadness we hear in the news, we know that our world is connected. There are ways to connect by looking into our hearts. Maybe we could help spread love, peace, forgiveness and hope with the power of sound in music،”colors in art, and words in quotes that touch our hearts. - the Ray Family »Thank you Em Ray & your beautiful family.
